The Rahel Bracers serve as a functional forearm protection piece, constructed from heavy-duty leather of substantial thickness to provide a rigid yet adaptable barrier suitable for live-action role-playing (LARP) combat, historical reenactments, and theatrical stage costuming. The main structure features a specialized weathering treatment on the outer surface that emphasizes the natural grain and texture of the material, granting a worn appearance without compromising the physical integrity or strength of the leather. The exterior face is detailed with a geometric grid of incised diagonal lines, which align with symmetrically placed, dome-headed metal rivets featuring an antique brass finish; these rivets reinforce the leather assembly and aid in dispersing minor impact forces during activity. On the inner side, the fastening and adjustment system consists of three independent leather straps secured with robust metal rivets and adjustable buckles, allowing the user to precisely customize the fit to various forearm sizes or accommodate additional undergarments like shirts and padded gambesons.
